Sports Icons - Angelo Dundee Part 2
Great comedian actor riteish and a great legend Ajay bhai
Where's the full interview?
Iconic
The man "bring back the Buck"
He cited a Welshman as best kicker. Even more respect.
Legend isnt it? Not icon.
Thanks for the vid. Love hearing this bloke talk.
Cheers. I love hearing this bloke talk. Awesome.
Thanks for these interviews. Nice 1 bro.
Wow. Thanks for the interview. Man, I love this internet thing. Great times we are living in my bros.
No South Africa obviously during his tenure as Captain
When you talk about great all blacks you don't go past buck!
Rush was bloody quick in his prime. When he converted to wing I remember him scoring a try against New South Wales, where he absolutely burned the NSW back three, who at the time, were Australia's back three.
"To scared not to try hard"🤣🤣
What makes me laugh us how the Maori Boys talk about the other Maori Boys. A lot of naughtiness, laughter and warmth there.
To be fair, the guy that preceded him was pretty useful. Mexted was great with ball in hand and one of the worlds greatest lineout forwards in his day. Mexted was regarded as the world's best No. 8 in his time, just as Shelford was.
*Mexted* was brilliant in his own style, more of a *open running* ranging No 8 Kieran Read styles, *Buck* was more *Mana and a Leader,* that was pure go forward with ball in hand, like a unstoppable *juggernaut,* like get da FK outta my way!
You wouldn't think so, but Rush could handle himself..... He was a useful boxer in his young days.
1/4 of the way in before the story started.........
Heard Eric give a speech at a fund raiser once. He was one of the funniest and most interesting people I ever listened to. Had us in tears most of the dinner.
Don't know much about this man but from the look of him he looks tough
Very very tough Lcrc. Probably the toughest All Black I've seen and not dirty. But could stand toe to toe with anyone and they'd always end up on their arse.
... what a STUD !!!
Great series I am from Canada Victoria BC and toured New Zealand as a U19. We won 4 tied 1 and lost 1 against Aukland on a drop kick that never went through I caught it haha. What a learning experience
Buck’s a Kiwi icon up there with Ed Hillary. God Bless.
I'll Never forget buck Shelford and the rest of the all Black's back then my famous uncle sid Going was Training them at the North Auckland Rugby Ground at (Okara Park) in Whangarei I'll Never forget it he is a very close cousin to my Great Great gran Aunty Te Wiki Tora Edmunds and yes the all Black's won the 1987 Rugby World Cup in Auckland at Eden Park against France in the semi finals thanks to (Michael Jones AKA ICE MAN) it was a Allsome time back then Auckland central was party mad and history Repeating itself again after the 2011 Rugby World Cup allso hosted by New Zealand at Eden Park and again in 2015 but sadly we lost against England in the semi finals in 2019 but next year I really hope history doesn't repeat itself all over again because we are on a Losing streck at the moment and the 2023 Rugby World Cup is just Around the corner hosted by France at the TOULOUSE STADIUM where the All Blacks lost the 2007 Rugby World Cup and I hope history doesn't repeat itself all over again but the kind of coach the All Blacks needs right at this very moment is the famous one and only (BUCK SHELFORD) because buck Shelford being an Ex PT Trainer in the New Zealand Navy (BUCK SHELFORD) just Might give the all Black's a wake up call witch to me todays all Black's team really do need because the (2023) Rugby World Cup is just around the corner and it's creeping up really fast
Jamine, Buck had a crack at coaching and wasn't great. He was too old school, even then. The game has moved on even more since then.
Bring back Buck ..
Keeps these coming he he he the day when men were men and women were women.
BEAUTIFULLY AND HEAVENLY DONE!!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING 🌹🎼⚘🎤🙏❤🌷🦋
Hurling highlights
Brilliant from Rush.
Great man Eric Rush..legend of NZ rugby..salut!!
Vinaka Ajay for representing Fiji n interviewing some World Greats
If there was a game of rugby with heaven against hell buck would be my captain. No doubt in my mind
Cool mate.
Really Really Enjoyed the Interview man...Thank you Eric Rush for the raw and straight up South Seas amusement account of those real Rugby Good Old Days....and for Buck...Oooh man He was a Warrior who had no backward step...The good thing about him was he always spiced rugby with manhood in terms of fights and rough stuff...(may be I'm just too old fashion)...but I Loved Rugby that Way you know.... Anyways... Thanks Rushy for the wonderful account... Cheers
What a Great man.
A real man, team player, and leader of men on men. The pride of his family, friends/team-mates and New Zealand.
Huw Richards got his uppance. 'Buck Shot' to the bingo button! Copped one back that didn't even phase him. Hard bugger to put down. Fair play, as Captain he protected his team by laying down his marker. Good man.
That Auckland coach was talking some proper rubbish, and Buck 'rubbished' the spiteful bugger. Hardest ever player in my opinion. Gave pain, took pain. G.O.A.T
They don't come much tougher
Greatest respect to Wayne ‘Buck’ Shelford, a great man.
thanks for this vid, . May i ask where do u think u will go when u die u dont have to answer if u dont want to?
Great leader
Anyone know a link to Eric rushs boxing match in fight for life?
Always is respectful even when fantasy character resembles life situations
Wonderful blues an contry an theater
Th G.O.A.T number #8 if u ask me - never a backward step and had the spine to rattle the best in the WORLD - fearless and a awesome LEADER :) he CHANGED the GAME for GOOD and bought our beloved HAKA back from the DEAD :)
Yeah I agree! Buck is the greatest 8 ever! The thing about Buck is that he always got the forwards going forward and getting over the advantage line and the ball never stopped with him when he was going forward. He always made sure of continuity and people do not understand how priceless that is when a forward pack is trying to assert itself! That team was unbeaten for 3 years for no other reason but Buck leading from the front! That forward pack has to go down as one of the greatest forward packs ever!
Buck led the way...
Eric Rush is Brilliant !! Love his humour !!
Buck Shelford was a One man team !!
ya what a player
You couldn't rack up 100 test's in those days playing with that brutality. In today's game any illegal contact and you're off for a scan. Mexted, Zinny and Read are *all* great Number 8's. But *BUCK* is the *greatest!.* Mana, leadership, hardman, good man! Wasn't the tallest number 8, only 6 ft 2, but a *brutal* ball carrier. When you watch BUCK play there's a bit of Mexted, Zinny and Read in ALL in one! He's the Greatest, *never* lost as Captain! *BUCK* SHELFORD!! Played On With His Knackers Ripped and *never* lost a game as Captain! ENJOY!! ruclips.net/video/ItPmdSpBamk/видео.html
the backround music was TOO loud, so off putting
